The second part of this series will provide you with information about the collaboration with the Touro Law Veteran’s Clinic, expansion of the remote video temporary order of protection program, and petition filing services for unrepresented victims of domestic violence. You will hear about ADR programs for custody, visitation and child support cases and private pay procedures for the attorney for the child cases. You will also learn about:
• How human trafficking cases are addressed in Family and Criminal Court.
• Issues relating to the granting of special immigrant juvenile status on illegal immigrants under the age of 21.
• Child support violations, modifications, high school and college expenses and the issue of emancipation.
