This two – part series is an extensive program of updates and new developments for your family law practice. Michelle Nardella, Associate Court Attorney and SCBA President, Lynn Poster Zimmerman will be discussing Mediation in both the Family Court and the Supreme Court and how Mediation is becoming a more accepted method of resolving family and matrimonial matters. Hon. Caren Loguercio, Family Court Judge, will discuss new procedures and protocols in Family Treatment Court, the FOCUS program, use of Suspended Judgments and ACODs in FTC cases, streamlining the adoption process and the use of warrants for children who abscond from DSS custody.

• How human trafficking cases are addressed in Family and Criminal Court.
• Issues relating to the granting of special immigrant juvenile status on illegal immigrants under the age of 21.
