This timely topic will include a discussion of the importance of a thorough initial interview to determine, if applicable, legal status of your client and the previous driving record including charges which were reduced. You will hear about practicing before the Suffolk County Traffic and Parking Violations Agency from pleading not guilty, to conference, and trial and appeal.
Learn about "The Greenlight Law" scheduled to go into effect 12/14/19 to allow non-citizens in New York State, meeting certain proof of identity requirements to apply for a non-commercial driver's license. The administrative appeals of permanent denial of driver license applications will also be a topic of discussion.
