Student Discipline Pursuant to Education Law Sec.3214 in 2020-LIVE-February 26, 2020

A distinguished panel consisting of school attorneys, an attorney representing students, and a hearing officer will acquaint you with substantive law relating to student discipline. Attendees will obtain an in-depth understanding of the current requirements of Education Law ยง3214 and student suspension procedures.
The panel will discuss hypothetical students from different perspectives. This portion will be interactive and address the journey through the student discipline process from both the school district and student perspectives and its effects, with a focus on the administrative hearing.
